Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. He was married, to Marry, played hockey and rugby for a local club and worked as a warehouseman in a mill before he enlisted. he died in a motor cycle accident and was cremated in Manchester. He was not found to have been named on any other Calderdale memorial.
