Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. He did not marry and worked for a firm of chartered accountants as well as serving in the ATC and Home Guard before he enlisted. He trained in Canada and was lost flying as a navigator in a Mosquito. He is also commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial.
