Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. Joseph was married to Queenie May and worked in a mill in King's Cross Halifax before the war. He served in the Yorks and Lancs Regiment and drowned on 5th December 1941. aged 25. He is commemorated on the El Alamein Memorial.
