LIVERPOOL DAILY POST AND MERCURY 18 JUL 1921

The window was unveiled by Mrs John Lester, whose two sons, Frank, who gained the V.C , and Edwin both made the supreme sacrifice during the war. Two other members of the congregation fell during the war, Morton Brown Paton and Arthur Clifford Cook, whilst twenty-two others served with the forces. The Rev. J.C Neil described the day as one of tears and joy, sorrow and pride.
A series of oak panels, in memory of Mr James Kerfoot Jones was unveiled by his brother Mr Richard B Jones. Mr Jones who died many years ago, was secretary of the Building Committee and Sunday School superintendent.
