Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details thanks to a private message from Albert's niece, Mrs Cynthia Hollas.. He was married, to a Florence Bowles from Cleethorpes, and was a talented violinist. He enlisted in 1939 and died piloting a Stirling bomber over the North Sea whilst returning from a raid on Wilhelmshaven. He is also commemorated on IWM 2130, 2703 and 2823 as well as the Runnymede Memorial.
