Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. The son of the the Headmaster, he was the school mile nd cross country record holder who worked in Rugby after leaving school and enlisted in 1939. He died during the Japanese invasion of Hong Kong, dying sometime between the 8th and 25th of December 1941, and is also commemorated on IWM 2630 and 2632. His brother Paul also served in WW2.
