Notes
The Roll lists no address for him, merely stating that he was a Private in the Worcestershire Regiment, and that he died of wounds. [He is known to have actually been the Private Abraham Perry, 24236, who served in the 3rd Battalion Worestershire Regiment, died on 12/10/1916, aged 25, and is buried in Braodway Cemetery].
(N.B. The Roll is known to include numerous errors, including: misspelt names and inaccurate date/place of death, service number/ rank/ military unit etc; several casualties were mistakenly listed on it twice [i.e. under their true name and also the alias under which they served]; several other men were listed on it due to the mistaken belief they had died, whereas they had actually survived).
