The Roll lists no address for him, and does not record his date of death. [Private Arthur Holbrook, 5605, of the Notts and Derbys was killed in action 26/4/1916, and is buried in Grangegorman Military Cemetery, Cabra, County Dublin; he was the son of Mr and Mrs Thomas Henry Holbrook, of 71, Lees Hill Street, Sneinton, Nottingham].
(N.B. The Roll is known to include numerous errors, including: misspelt names and inaccurate date/place of death, service number/ rank/ military unit etc; several casualties were mistakenly listed on it twice [i.e. under their true name and also the alias under which they served]; several other men were listed on it due to the mistaken belief they had died, whereas they had actually survived).
