Notes
CWGC state he was the son of Denis and Ellen O'Leary, of Boothtown, Halifax. Hornshaw and Fowler (see References) add that he was working in a mill before he enlisted in 1926. He then serve 8 years in India and died as a POW. He is also listed on IWM 2689.
