Notes
The memorial states that Flight Lieutenant Dane was captured in Java in February 1942, but does not give a date of death. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission website states that he was a member of the Malayan Volunteer Air Force and that he is buried or commemorated at the Yokohama War Cemetery in Japan - see https://www.cwgc.org/find-records/find-war-dead/casualty-details/2207838/HENRY DANE/
