Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. He died of influenza, his age was given by the press as both 28 and 30 and he was not found to be commemorated on any other Calderdale memorial. He is buried in this churchyard, as is his brother, John, who is also commemorated on this memorial. They were the sons of Percy Jackson who made many of the Calderdale Memorials.
