Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. He died as a POW and is also commemorated on IWM 2689. There is a slight confusion in that Hornshaw and Fowler said he had been held at Friedrichsfeld camp which was near Cologne, a letter being apparently sent from there on 21/9/18 just 9 days before he died, but he is buried, according to them and the CWGC, at Glageon in France.
