Warrant Officer Class II (Battery Sergeant Major). 48 Battery, 21st Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment, Royal Artillery. Died of malaria at Paginatan on the way to Ranau, Borneo - during 1st Sandakan "Death March." Only 6 of 2,434 men survived the marches and the prison camp at Ranau. Commemorated on Singapore Memorial, Kranji War Cemetery.
