CWGC records that Private Allen Garner of the 1st Battalion The Queen's (Royal West Surrey Regiment), regimental number G/13721, was the son of the late John Garner, and the husband of Mabel Emily Garner of 47 Wellington Street, Peterborough. He died 23/4/1917, aged 35, and is commemorated on Bay 2 of the Arras Memorial in France.
His birth and marriage were registered under the name James Allen Garner.
