Notes
The Roll lists his address as 401 Gladstone Street.

(During the collation/compilation stage of the Roll, this man was also inadvertently listed on it as Corporal 'A. Farrow' of the Northants Regiment. However, having realised that it was misspelt duplication of the entry for Albert Farrar - who was listed on the Roll under the correct spelling, the compiler struck through the entry for 'A. Farrow'. That rogue entry had been struck through by the time the 'completed' Roll was presented to the Mayor in 1921, and was not included in the 1047 casualties mentioned on the Roll's dedicatory inscription).
