Notes
Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. He was a silk dresser in a mill before he enlisted in August 1914. He was wounded whilst serving in France and then wounded again on 25/4/17 serving in Salonika where he ultimately died in hospital. This was the only Calderdale memorial they found him named on.
