Regiment, rank and service sourced from CWGC: although they have his date of death as 3 September 1916, not 1918, and have him as a Second Lieutenant, there is only one WW1 casualty with this double-barrelled surname and the forenames and ages match. He is also commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial.
