Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. He had been a member of this church's choir and was working in a local good yard before enlisting. He died in the unsuccessful attack on the Schwaben Redoubt which accounted for over 300 of his regiment. He is also listed on IWM 2689 and possibly on IWM 29407.
