Hornshaw and Fowler provide service and death details. A cricketer and territorial who saved 3 lives from drowning in 1906 when aged 16, he enlisted in August 1914. He died of wounded to both legs incurred on the day before his death. His brother, Wilbert, is also commemorated on this memorial,
