Forename, service and death details sourced from Hornshaw and Fowler. Was working for a local shuttlemaker but was called up as a Territorial in August 1914, crossing to france in April 1915. He suffered shrapnel wounds on September 29th, had his left arm amputated at 11 Hospital in Boulogne but died of septicaemia the following day.
