Military Service: Lieutenant 14th Battalion, attached 16th Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment (Prince of Wales Own). Died 27 February 1917 during the actions on the Ancre, part of the advance to the Hindenburg Line. Possibly, during the capture of the Thilloys.'
