Notes
Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. He was originally from Ipswich and worked as a baker before, as a Reservist, he was called up in August 1914. He was wounded at Hill 60, Ypres, and left a wife and 2 children. This is the only Calderdale memorial he is named on.
