Notes
The Roll of Honour mistakenly includes this entry for "Robert Norton", whose regimental number in the Royal West Kent Regiment it lists as 7474, and whose address it records as 152 Westwood Street. The entry is actually alluding to Robert James Morton, who is also recorded on the Roll of Honour under his correct surname, with the same regimental number, date of death etc. (see our Names record 591628 re that entry for details).
Even though this entry for him as "Robert Norton" is known to be erroneous, we have to have a Names record for it, to avoid possibly giving an impression that we have overlooked the entry. JK
