Notes
The Roll lists his address as New England.
(CWGC records that Private Reginald Frederick Kidd, regimental number 37035, died aged 19 on 3/12/1917 serving in 16th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers, and is commemorated on Addenda Panel 162 of Tyne Cot Memorial in Belgium. They record him as the son of John and Mary Elizabeth Kidd of Warmington, Peterborough. His birth was registered in 1898 as "Frederick Reginald Kidd", which was therefore his legal name. On the 1901 census he was recorded as Frederick R Kidd, living with his parents John and Mary in Warmington. On the 1911 census he was recorded as Reginald Frederick Kidd, living with his parents in Warmington. He evidently enlisted in the Army as "Reginald Frederick Kidd", as all his surviving military records are under that name, and it was the name the Army passed to the War Graves Commission. Soldiers Died in the Great War records that he was a native of Warmington who enlisted in Kettering, and that he served in the Northamptonshire Regiment under regimental number 18691 before joining the Northumberland Fusiliers. The Army Registers of Soldiers' Effects record him as Reginald Frederick Kidd, and that his father John was his legatee).
