The Roll lists his address as 308 Walpole Street. It wrongly lists his date of death as 12/11/1918, and misspells his surname as "Hoare".
(CWGC records that Private Alick Hector Hoar, regimental number 31152, died aged 33 on 23/3/1918 while serving in 6th Battalion Northamptonshire Regiment, and is commemorated on Pozieres Memorial in France. They record him as the son of Henry and Theodosia Mills Hoar of 292 Walpole Street, Peterborough. The Army Registers of Soldiers' Effects record that he died "on or since 23/3/1918- death presumed", and that his mother was his legatee).
