(CWGC records that Lance Corporal H. Holborn, regimental number 7232, died on 31/7/1917 while serving in the 2nd Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment, and is now buried in grave III.H.16 at Hooge Crater Cemetery in Belgium, having been reinterred after the War. Soldiers Died in the Great War records that Lance Corporal Harry Holborn was a native of Hull who enlisted at Scarborough. The Army Registers of Soldiers' Effects record that his widow Isabella was his legatee. Harry had married Isabella Amour in 1908 in Peterborough; she was the daughter of Agnes Ann & John Sharp Amour of 47 Hankey Street, Peterborough).
