(CWGC records that Robert Douglas Goodfellow, regimental number 29217, died aged 21 on 31/3/1918 while serving in 7th Battalion East Yorkshire Regiment, and is buried in grave II.L.9 at Bouzincourt Ridge Cemetery at Albert in France. They record him as the son of Amy and Robert John Goodfellow of Helpston, Peterborough. Robert's Medal Index Card records that he had formerly served in the Army Service Corps under regimental number S4/158455. The Army Registers of Soldiers' Effects record that his father Robert was his legatee).
