The Roll lists his address as 35 Bridge Street. It wrongly records his date of death as 3/5/1916.
(CWGC records that Private Arthur William Emerton, regimental number 30928, died on 3/5/1917 serving in 6th Battalion Northamptonshire Regiment, and is commemorated on Bay 7 of Arras Memorial. Soldiers Died in the Great War likewise record that he died 3/5/1917, as do the Army Registers of Soldiers' Effects, which record that his sister Rose was his legatee).
