(CWGC records that Private G G Crick, regimental number 40529, died on 9/4/1917 serving in 7th Battalion Norfolk Regiment, and is buried in grave I.A.37 at Tilloy British Cemetery in France. They record no details of his address or next of kin. On the 1901 Census he had been living with his parents William and Hannah at Bridge End, Peterborough. The Army Registers of Soldiers' Effects record his widow, Annie May Crick, as his legatee).
