The Roll lists his address as 137 North Street, Stanground. It incorrectly lists his regimental number as 6943 (it was actually 4963) and his forename as Charles; he was actually John Charles.
(CWGC records that Gunner John Charles Cobb, regimental number 4963, died aged 37 on 26/1/1916 while serving in the 4th East Anglian Brigade of the Royal Field Artillery, and is buried in grave 511 at Stanground South Cemetery in Huntingdonshire; Stanground is actually on the outskirts of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. They record his parents as being Charles & Fanny Cobb of 113 North Street, Stanground. John is not recorded in Soldiers Died in the Great War).
