(CWGC records that Private A Barrett, regimental number 9568, died on 1/5/1917 serving in 2nd Battalion Bedfordshire Regiment; he is buried in grave X.E.5 of Warlincourt Halte British Cemetery at Saulty, France. When his death was announced on 12/5/1917 in the Peterborough Advertiser, his address was given as Coneygree Road, Stanground, Peterborough, and it was mentioned that he left a widow and child).
