Notes
The Roll of Honour lists his address as 56 Orchard Street, New Fletton. It misspelt his surname as "Aucott" (it was actually "Ancott"). and wrongly listed his date of death as 9/5/1915 (it was actually 4/5/1915).

(CWGC records that Private Tom Ancott regimental number 12410, was serving in 2nd Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment when he died aged 24 on 4/5/1915; having no known grave, he is commemorated on Ypres Menin Gate Memorial in Belgium. They record him as the son of Joseph & Elizabeth Ancott of 56 Orchard Street, New Fletton, Peterborough. The Army Registers of Soldiers' Effects likewise record that Tom Ancott died on 4/5/1915, as do the Medal Rolls).
