Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. He worked in the goods yard at Brighouse station, as well as for T F Firth, and was married. he enlisted in June 1916 and his age was given as both 24 (press) and 27 (on the family grave in Brighouse). He is also commemorated on IWM 2738, 2747 and 2602. This memorial states he worked in the Clifton and Victoria mills.
