Hornshaw and Fowler could provide no extra details on this man and this was the only Calderdale memorial they found him on. The did wonder if he had in fact served in the RASC and died in 1920 but were unsure. CWGC lists two men of this name serving in the Rifle Brigade who died but they have no obvious link to Brighouse.
