Hornshaw and Fowler could find no extra details nor any other Calderdale memorial on which he was commemorated. CWGC shows no casualty of this name: Hornshaw and Fowler thought he could have been a Frank Handford (who died of wounds on 10th January, 1915) but noted he was from Liverpool and had no obvious connection to Brighouse.
