Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra detail. Living in Boothtown in Halifax, married, with a child, he was working at Silk Mill before enlisting in 1915. He was killed by shellfire: his younger brother, Harry Willie, who evidently did not attend the same school, died 2 years earlier in the Dardanelles.
