Hornshaw and Fowler (see References) provide the extra detail and found him also listed on IWM 2224 and 596. An apprentice shuttle maker at a bobbin works, his parents lived in Cornholme (according to Collins: see References) he enlisted in January 1915 and is now listed on the Pozieres Memorial.
