Hornshaw and Fowler (see References) provide the extra detail and found him also listed on IWM 2224 and 596.He was a local Methodist Sunday school teacher and choirmaster who worked for Dunlop Rubber before the war. He was posted missing on 25/4/18 and died as a POW: his wife, Hilda, remarried and became Hilda Sykes.
