Hornshaw and Fowler (see References) provide the extra detail and state that he originally came from Swansea and was unmarried. He had been wounded but had returned to his unit before dying of a combination of dysentery and pneumonia in an Australian Military Hospital. He is also commemorated on IWM 2224 and 2650. They say he may have been the brother of Abraham who is also listed on this memorial.
