Assistant Master at Bloxham, 1912 – 1914. Commenced service on 15 August 1914. Second Lieutenant, 5th Battalion, Duke of Cambridge’s Own (Middlesex Regiment), attached to the 1st Battalion Northants Regiment [or the Northumberland Fusiliers], 1914. Served in France. Killed in action on the 22 December 1914.'
