Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. He was married, with a child, and enlisted in April 1916: by July he was serving on the Somme. He is also commemorated on IWM 2860, 2613 and 29453 as well as the Tyne Cot Memorial. His brother Harry was killed a month later but is not commemorated here.
