The Nottinghamshire Roll of Honour (see References) provides the extra details. They add 'Henry Parry was born in 1891 the son of the late William a farm labourer and Charlotte Parry née Wood of Awsworth Nottinghamshire. William Parry was born in 1859 at East Markham, he died in 1899 aged 42 yrs Charlotte Wood was born in 1870 at Radford, married on 20th October 1889 at East Markham, they had the following children, Samuel b1890, Henry b1891,William b1893 and Florence Jane b1898.
Henry married Ethel Emma Caldwell (born 10th January 1892) in 1910 their marriage was recorded in the Basford registration district, they lived at 4 Brook Cottages Ilkeston, they had a son Martin Lewis Parry born 25th November 1910. [He was working as a coal miner loader it seems.]
Commencing 21st August 1916 his widow was awarded a pension of 15 shillings a week. His widow Ethel married on 31st December 1917 Jesse Rickard Brookes a serving soldier with the South Staffordshire Regiment, they lived at 26 Midland Road Heanor Derbyshire.'
