Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. He enlisted in November 1915 and was killed 2 days after but in the same attack as his elder brother, Leonard, who is also commemorated here: he died in the arms of a third brother, Willie, who survived the war. He is also commemorated on IWM 2130 and 2823 as well as the Arras Memorial.
