Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. A mill worker who was a member of Rastrick Bowling Club, he enlisted in March 1916. He survived being wounded once and was killed in the Peter Pan Sector. He is also commemorated on IWM 2738 and 2747 as well as the Tyne Cot Memorial.
