Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. He was not married and worked in a wire works =before he enlisted in June 1915. He served in Egypt, the Dardanelles and, finally, France. He died in hosptial after reciving a chest and arm wound on 15/12/17 and is also commemorated on IWM 2689.
