The memorial appears to have his initial incorrect and IWM 109175 lists him as Thomas. The following information was supplied by the school in 2024: 'Possibly son of Thomas and Alice Rogers of Ledbury. Name on Chatham Naval Memorial. Could be farmer's son from Stansbatch - see KRDC Tribunal records. KT reports June 1917 that Sub-Lt Rogers, RNAS killed on Western Front. Son of T. Rogers of Ledbury. Kington Times August 1915 clearly gives initial as T.'
