The following information was supplied by the school in 2024: 'Noted by LHS December 1914. December 1915 reported that he is on hospital ship on way home to England with dysentery and jaundice. Name cannot be finalised and A may be the wrong initial. Could be Arthur Morgan, born in Chester in 1894, living as a lodger at 41 Bridge Street in 1911 and a Grocer's Assistant. He is also recorded on the census by his family - father Thomas, a jobbing gardener, living at The Meer, Sarnesfield, Woonton. Relevant details suggest that this is him.'
