The following information was supplied by the school in 2024: 'Born Kington [in 1891]. Noted as recruit from LHS in August 1915. 1901 [living at] 4 Island Terrace. Father Thomas is a baker. 1911 at Southend on Sea where he is an assistant grocer. At this point his mother is widowed and living with married daughter at 31 High Street. Possibly dies March 1956, Hereford.'
