The following information was supplied by the school in 2024: ''Lamb Inn 12 High Street. Father is Reuben, mother Sarah Elizabeth. Harold b. in Bilston Staffs (in 1893). 1911 is a shop assistant, boot dealer. Enlisted January 1915 at Newtown, occupation given as shop manager. Had served 4 years with Herefordshire Regiment (Territorials?). Discharged after 22 days as not physically fit for war service, but fit for employment in civilian life.' Brother of William Henry who is also listed on this memorial.
