All additional information and this short biography are supplied thanks to the research of the Blackpool Grammar School Old Boys: 'He came from Nottingham, and was the son of George Dutton and Annie Walker, of Warbreck Hill and the nephew of Ethel M Walker. He attended the school from 1914 until 1922, and then worked in an accountants office. He was a Lieutenant (No 267221) in the 7/9th Battalion of the Royal Scots, and died on Thursday 2nd November 1944 at the age of 44. His grave is at the Bergen-op-Zoom War Cemetery in the Netherlands.'
